Rendell in Haiti

Governor Rendell traveled to Haiti today to oversee the rescue of 61 orphans. (Really? Really.) The Philadelphia Inquirer and KYW radio have the details.

Update: More details from the Tribune-Review. Congressman Jason Altmire made the trip, too, and the plane is expected to land in Pittsburgh around midnight.

One Response to Rendell in Haiti

  1. Tracey says:

Wonderful job! I am so happy to see these children brought to safety and hopefully get a loving home to go to. Now lets work on getting the rest of the orphans out of there and help the Haitians clean up and rebuild. I am so proud of my country!
