Politics as Usual

Good afternoon.

“Politics as Usual” has triumphantly returned to its usual Monday slot. In this week’s pod:

-I-80 tolling. When will the Feds make a decision? What happens if they reject Pennsylvania’s tolling application? (Hint — it’s not pretty.)

-The Democratic Senate race heats up. Team Specter is grilling Joe Sestak for paying his staffers peanuts — but the longtime incumbent is facing some pretty dismal polling numbers.

-The gubernatorial campaign doesn’t heat up. At all. The Democratic and Republican primary fields continue to plod along in a non-marquee fashion. When will the candidates–particularly Tom Corbett–hit the airwaves? When will Democrats start talking about their differences on policy?

-Moscow mules. They’re delicious — and deadly.

All that and more, now available on Pennsylvania’s ONLY political podcast.
