A programming note:

I’ll be out of town next week, attending the annual Radio and Television Digital News Association (formerly Radio and Television News Directors’ Association, but more “with the times” these days) conference. So the blog posts will be few and far between.

And speaking of RTDNA — I’m happy to report WITF picked up three regional Edward R. Murrow Awards this week: two for my coverage of the Pennsylvania National Guard’s 56th Stryker Brigade in Iraq, and one for a feature Tim Lambert did on The Hershey Story museum. We’re proud to have won a dozen of these guys – as well as three national Murrows — in the past five years.

Congrats on the wards. You and WITF deserve major kudos for the work that you did on impact of war. Hope to work with you again in future.
