Kirkland update

Earlier this week, I posted an item about Democratic Rep. Thaddeus Kirkland, who unendorsed Arlen Specter and endorsed Joe Sestak — only to unendorse Sestak within twenty minutes. “I need to stay neutral,” he told me at the time.

Well it looks like Kirkland is back to endorsing Specter. According to a schedule released by the Specter campaign, Kirkland will play host to an 11:30 AM Saturday Specter rally in Chester.

So if you’re keeping score at home:

Monday: Kirkland is backing Specter

Tuesday morning: Kirkland shifts; endorses Sestak

Tuesday afternoon: Kirkland unendorses Sestak, declares his neutrality

Saturday morning: Kirkland hosts Specter campaign event.
